What causes Apple ipod tech support
Downloading new and updated apps in the Windows Store can be fun until you encountered an app error. Fortunately, there are several ways on how to fix these errors. A simple way is to check your time and date settings. Oftentimes, updates do not work because your time and date is incorrect.

Ipod Nano-Apple Support & iTunes Sync
Best new device price is via Amazon where a lot of this information is noted. I am much more trustful of your comments regarding Apple Support and sync capabilities..
I want to buy a new Ipod Nano but keep reading confusing information about how it is no longer supported by Apple and will not sync with the latest version of iTunes.
Apple - MobileMe - new itunes / ipod update watch it! what BS! apple REALLY likes to
no where in this FIRMWARE update did it say it was installing some new Apple BS software!! (and i dont read thorugh 5000000 lines of license either) Can apple just not say HEY! Yes or NO... apple REALLY likes to sneak crap into what you think is one thing but it isnt
so i install itunes as usual, only itunes installs, apple updater,. would you like to try this new feature?
think okay weird but oh well! i have now uninstalled itunes and every piece of crapple software from my computer and will find better ways to get music to my ipod, legal or not. They don't allow you to remove it either. Each time an iTunes update comes out I have to uncheck Safari so it doesn't install.
come back later from dinner to find this BS Apple "mobilie me" Icon in my dam control panel...... F.U Apple, sick of you forcing software onto people behind their backs.
I take it you didn't notice it when Apple blantantly tries to force Safari in on the iTunes update?
so i plug in my IPOD nano, says it has a fireware update, GREAT, hit download - 53MB download....
I have then added these tracks to iTunes and sync'd with my Ipod...how do i get the CD title and tracks titles to show? I have just transferred some music from an original cd onto my pc using some software called 'switch' (to transfer the format to mp3). At present they are showing as Track 1,2,3 etc. Please HelpMark just simply, before or after uploading (doesnt matter), rename the song.
T430s constant blue screen and no help from customer support or tech support. Help!
Then they sent me MORE recovery CDs to try to fix the problem and that also made the blue screens worse. I called tech support after this and they said they would send in a request for a replacement laptop. It starting getting blue screens within a month of purchasing it. Then, they tried giving me recovery discs and a new hard drive.
It has now been a week. This did nothing and over a few weeks the blue screens progressively got worse. I have had problems with this laptop almost the entire time I have owned it and no one knows what to do/how to fix it. Considering that I spent $900 on a computer that does not work and that I am in graduate school makes the whole situation worse. Another 3-4 business days later, someone called me to tell me that they would NOT be replacing the laptop despite the fact tech support could not fix the laptop.
It is clear that customer support thinks that it is okay to take their sweet time on this matter. I am beyond angry and fustrated with the way this has been handled. This is the worst experience with a laptop that I have ever had in my entire life. Has anyone else had such a horrible experience?
If so, what did you end up doing? Finally, I contacted Customer support and demanded a refund for the faulty product that I was sold. After calling tech support once again, I was told that they wanted me to send in my laptop again for up to 7 business days!
I have a T43...
FAKE MICROSOFT TECH SUPPORT IS COMPANY CALLED FAST SUPPORT
of course it is clear to them that you are suspicious and they will get rid of the phone operator who didn't succeed. Mind the tech support scammer!Tech Support Scamming through unsolicited phone calls, browser pop-ups and emails from "so-called Support Techs" advising "your computer is infected with malware", “All Your Files Are Encrypted" and other fake "alert messages" has become an increasing common scam tactic over the past several years. they also give you a complaint department where you can enter the number that you feel is causing you problems, the number of the LOGMEINRESCUE type remote access code. So do not bother to leave any complaint.
They wanted me to go to FASTSUPPORT\763721586 ( do not use these numbers). The scams may involve web pages with screenshots of fake Microsoft (Windows) Support messages, fake reports of suspicious activity, fake warnings of malware found on your computer, fake ransomware and fake BSODs all of which include a tech support phone number to call in order to fix the problem. It is a company called FASTSUPPORT.com.
I keep receiving calls from fake MICROSOFT Tech support with various telephone numbers.
If you call the phone number (or they called you), scammers will talk their victims into allowing them remote control access of the computer so they can install a Remote Access Trojan in order to steal passwords and other sensitive personal information which could then be used to access ...
Problem with Apple iPod 5th gen
What do you think? This screen problem can't be seen in normal view, but when tilted or light is shown on it, it is visable. This was all straight from the box. We tried called Apple Tech Support, but the guy wasn't clear or helpful on where to go if I wanted to return it.
Is it a hard process, are there any fees? It sort of looks like when you press your finger against and LCD screen and all the weird colors appear, but continually. Also, when you hold the screen level with your eye, you can see like a purple spot on the bottom middle of the screen.
Have any of you returned any of apple's products? I am debating returning it.
Apple Ipod Nano
My Nano Will Charge And Work When Its On The Dock But As Soon As I Take It Off The Screen Goes Blank!! Here's a great place for help with all the various iPod and iPhone issues, hardware, software, how to's etc:
I'd put up a question there, and try to give as much info as you can, some details like this just happened, it's always been this way, what size Nano it is, and so on. I've posted this link below, right to the Nano section:
Apple iPod won't restore on my XP =(
Use iTunes to restore." I tried, and it kept telling me to restore it.
Okay, I turned on my 5th Gen 30GB iPod one day and the screen says "Connect to computer. Do this even if you have the newest version. Here's the message:
Uninstall iTunes, and reboot your computer.
After about 3 weeks and a reformat (not related to the iPod), I reinstalled iTunes, and everything worked fine. I've tried like 10 times. I've tried following Apple's support page for this problem but that didn't help at all either.
Finally decided I would leave it alone for a while. This may or may not work in your case.
I had the same problem with a 2nd gen that I bought, and tried EVERYTHING I could think of. Download the newest version of iTunes and the try to restore.
Am I doing something wrong?
Apple Ipod and Vista

Apple IPOD on Windows ME ?!?
Is there a program which will allow it to work. If your iPod is repaired, chances are it will come back with the latest version of iPod software. Windows ME works with iPod software 1.3 through 2.0.2. Windows ME does not work with iPod software 2.1 or later or with iPod mini software 1.0.
Yes it does, but please read this first;
iPod software 2.1: About Windows ME Support
To use an iPod that has iPod 2.1 or later software with Microsoft Windows ME, you'll first need to restore iPod to a previous version of the software. I have checked around on the internet but there isnt much about.
I am considering buying an IPOD but am still using windows ME and was wondering if anybody knows about whether they are compatible ? (and yes i am too broke to buy XP ).
Note: iTunes for Windows and iPod mini only work with Windows XP and Windows 2000. The apple website just says windows 2000 SE is compatible, but isnt ME just like 2000. To use an iPod that has iPod software 2.1 or later with Windows ME, restore your iPod using the original CD that came with it. In this case, you'll need to restore it to a previous version.

Dell DJ 20 or Apple Ipod
i was wondering if the dell was a good player to get cause its 100 dollars cheaper than the Ipod. any suggestions
I haven't actually used either, but what I've heard is that the IPod is the best mp3 player on the market. I've got an ipod mini shipping any day now, so I'll let you know how it is when I get it.

Tech. Support Scam from India support bases.
they got the needed driver and printer works fine. Today my Netgear routher died, called Netgear to get my lifetime warranty. Are you sure you were using legitimate HP/Netgear phone numbers? A friendly support guy looked at my system and told me my copy of Microsoft Win8 bought at Best Buy was not a legit copy, also my system had been infected and they needed to remove my Win8 clean my system and reinstall Win8.
printer driver. Well I was using a small backup H.P. computer on the Net.
When I installed Win8 on one computer I need a H.P.
So I went to H.P. support. Are you sure it wasn't just a variation of the scams the FTC are starting to crack down on? Then he informed me my computer was under attack and my files were being read he could fix my system and protect my files for the small sum of just $85US.
hardwired and it was almost never used. So I knew it was a India Tech. made me a deal of a reduced price of $250US I knew this was not right so I begged them good buy went to Best Buy where I have good friends in the Geek Squad.
How Windows tech support scammers walked right into a trap set by the feds | Ars Technica
Where did you get the numbers from? I just wonder how many new to computers and older people who know nothing are being ripped off by these East India robbers. I needed setup help so called Netger as new user also in India guy was friendly looked at my system and helped me get it setup.
Apple 8GB iPod Touch / 3rd Generation
With any luck it's not just me thinkng about this. Or how to go about finding it relevant to the U.K.? Any thoughts welcome?
Out of interest, how does flight mode work to stop emissions?
Does anyone know the SAR rating on the Apple 8GB iPod Touch / 3rd Generation? I read this "The iPod Touch also doesn't have to comply with SAR level regulations in 80 different countries, whereas the iPhone had to be built to keep the radiation level to a minimum."
Here http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=570562 And found it quite surprising.

Realplayer And 80gb Apple Ipod
that will remove the protection and you can rerip as generic unprotected mp3's for transfer to the ipod
I personally boycott any protected music for this very reason, it's my belief that if you buy the music you should not be crippled from listening to it in any format on any device. their belief is you should keep buying the song over and over, it makes sense, can't blame them
I have contacted RealPlayer customer/technology support and get apologies but no solutions, basically just a "run around". Can anyone out there help me?
If so, which one do you/anyone recommend as there are several to choose from. Anyway... Is there any downloadable software that can remedy my problem?
I need simplicity. I had a 2GB Ipod Nano but upgraded because I had way too music and video that it could not store it all. I have purchased well over 3000 songs from RealPlayer however am only able to transfer roughly 1000 of them. Is it user friendly?
I appreciate all and any help that anyone can give me. I am hoping and praying that someone out there can help me and/or give me advice. Will this work? I have tried the "convert media format" (MP3 and AAC) route but was able to get about 20 more songs out of it.
do your protected(DRM) real audio files have an option to burn to audio cd? I read a blog recommending Total Recorder.
