How To Fix Bluetooth dongle detected, items detected but not connecting.
Bluetooth dongle detected, items detected but not connecting. is the name of the error that contains information about the error, including the reason why it occurred, which system component or application was malfunctioning that caused the error, and other information. From the Forums
A user in the forum details it further:
Or am I barking up the wrong tree completely? CSR PLC Customer Support Unfortunately there are no identifiers on the dongle itself but device manager seems to think it's: Device type: Bluetooth Radios Manufacturer: Cambridge Silicon Radio Ltd Is there anyway I can detect exactly the chipset in the dongle and get the correct drivers installed? Once plugged in it installs driver version 6.1.7601.17889 from microsoft and there are no yellow '?'s.
Have you tried contacting CSR? A very detailed search has brought me to the conclusion that it's a problem with the bluetooth driver, not the headset. When I look for devices it sees my headset no probs but will not connect, which it does instantly with phones / tablets etc.

Good Morning. When you truncate a scan history log you remove all the scan histories from the log except the last scan that was run. Note: if you truncate your scan history you might loose some statistics such as the number of scans run.Following the Help instructions...Click on "Tools", "Spyware Scan", "View Spyware Scan History" and you will see your scan history file.Clicking on "Truncate" (bottom left corner of the open window) will remove the history files.Should several ignored or quarantined files remain, they can also be removed by clicking on thetoggle located to the right in the window called "Scan Details" which is how one removesindividual files otherwise.I just accomplished the above and now have a "clean slate"! Your question, but I learned a lot also about the M$AS today too!regardsKoan
Then in the details section, click on Clear this Spyware Scan History.Truncate Spyware scan history.Your spyware scan history may eventually become so large that you might want to truncate the entire scan history log. To truncate your scan history, click on Truncate Spyware Scan History at the bottom of the scan history list. Does anybody know if it is possible to reset "total items detected". I found the following information in the Help Section of M$AS under...."Spyware Scan: Scan History"Clear spyware scan history. To remove the s...

For the last couple of days my online pages were taking a very long time to load and today all I was getting was white and "not responding". KHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\prnet (Trojan.Downloader) -> Quarantined and deleted successfully.
AVG shows nothing and Super Spywareblaster also showed nothing. What do I do? Today while it wasn't responding, a message appeared in my toolbar that said my Firewall wasn't on. I have read through the Kaspersky Application help section, but can't find the answer.
window and none of the items detected today are in there. Having run scans I have a number of 'Detected' Heuristic items with apparently no action taken. Does anyone know on here how to move them to the 'Quarantine' section or take any other action for that matter. The only tab that appears for 'Quarantine' is in the main app.

Breaking news of detected items through 2012.
Probably had 9-10 machines in the past week with it.
Haven't been seeing the new entries yet but Sirefef/Zeroaccess has been giving me fits.
You can find the prevalence of detections of HITMAN pro here. The ones in bold are new entries.
Not just the new ones. That is not surprising as those are the most infections reported from people.Give your thoughts EDIT: I mean all of the infections.

wireless network detected, not detected, detected and so on.
I'm running 2 pc's on windos xp pro, I have a d-link wireless N router, and i just can't use my pc which is connected through the wireless part of the router. PS: i've tried restarting the router/moden, to no avail. The other PC has an USB wireless adapter.
I've tried changing the wireless channel, nothing. Anyone got any ideas ?
It shows the signal Very strong strength, then it doesn't see anything at all, and it keeps happening over and over.
Defender Detected Items but no scans or warnings showed
Spybot only ever finds Minor 'green' threats like cookies or browser history etc. I scanned again and as always, No Detected Items are found. I should have written them down I guess but I just did Remove All. Hackers should be put in a dark cell forever.
the Detected Items list is also blank. Should I worry about this? What else can I run like hijack this, malware bytes etc that won't interfere with Spybot and Defender? I made a thread.
I have tried using as many scan tools as I can but there's always some stupid thing that makes one cause my main Defender protection to disable. I Scan at least once a day and same with spybott. The Severe items said they were only from about 3 weeks to a week ago detected which is in line with how the scan was all of a sudden taking forever. A few days ago it wouldn't complete a scan after 13 hours, the progress bar was only like %3 done.
I didn't do safe mode but I scanned again and after about 15 hours, it completed. Defender has never popped up or had a scan finish saying that anything was found. But after this Defender scan finally finished, I checked (I think for the first time ever) the Detected Items list in it and found about 8 Sever 'Exploit" items.
My Windows 8.1 PC used to do a full Defender scan in about 8 minutes. Someone suggested scan in safe mode.
Items detected in MBAM scan, is computer really clean now?
Please download Farbar Service Scanner (FSS) and run it on the computer with the issue.Make sure the following options are checked:
Internet ServicesWindows FirewallSystem RestoreSecurity Center/Action CenterWindows UpdateWindows DefenderOther ServicesPress "Scan".It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run. Please copy and paste the log to your reply. Can I post the MBAM log, to see if there is cause for concern? A Notepad document should open automatically called checkup.txt; please post the contents of that document.NOTE 1. So how can I determine if the computer is really clean and safe?
I want to transfer files from the computer, but I don't want to spread any viruses, malware, trojans, etc. rKill.txt log will also be present on your desktop.NOTE Do NOT wrap your logs in "quote" or "code" brackets.
The security software installed on it had been expired for a while, so I ran an MBAM full scan and some items were detected. If one of your security applications (e.g., third-party firewall) requests permission to allow DIG.EXE access the Internet, allow it to do so.NOTE 2 SecurityCheck may produce some false warning(s), so leave the results reading to me.
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (aka MBAM): http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free to your desktop.* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.* At the end, be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update...
24 Items Detected--now Pc Can't Get Past The Original Blck Start-up Screen
I changed my internet provider and after 3 months it finally got up and running.... I am not entirely sure... I woke up to a computer that when I turn it on doesn't leave the original black screen (says energy saver master and slave ports and down at the bottom says "press DEL..."
I HAVE pressed DEL and it restarts and takes me back to the almost frozen initial black screen...
Is there any help out there?
Is this where I post? only to be attacked by at least 24 viruses (along with a pop-up cheerfully reminding me that my McAffee expired on Dec. 31!!!)
I downloaded a Beta sweep (?) from Microsoft which detected 24 items...so many win32 and an Rbot too!!
Anyway I would paste the log, but I got off the internet as quickly as possible, tried to do a system restore but my computer failed on me and then the last thing I remember doing was loading fail safe options... I tried loading the OS software during the frozen screen and whilst off...neither has worked..they just go to that black screen...interestingly enough, I get a red light (running) on my tower as well as a normal green light for power on...and the red light does not go off...
I am asking from work because I can no longer use my home PC because.....

Weird. Don't know, help would be so great. I just bought a USB Bluetooth Dongle, a Iogear GBU421 Micro-Adapter to be exact, so I can play with my PS3 controller wirelessly on my computer. Is it conflicting drivers?
My Dongle light is on, blue. I plug the Dongle into my computer and this shows up (and I did restart my computer):
Ok, so I put in the CD that came with my Dongle, and want to install the software. Found out it was indeed conflicting drivers. Nevermind.
I don't really know whats wrong. signs. Had to fully uninstall my MotionJoy Drivers under my "Devices and Printers" unspecified.
Because under my device manager there is no error ! I load up the setup and it apparently installs the BTW Widcomm Bluetooth software.
