problem with wireless is the name of the error that contains information about the error, including the reason why it occurred, which system component or application was malfunctioning that caused the error, and other information. The numerical code in the name of the error contains data that can be decoded by the manufacturer of the faulty component or application. An error using this code can occur in many different places in the system. Although the name contains some details, it is still difficult for the user to find and eliminate the cause of the error without specialized technical knowledge or the appropriate software.

From the Forums

A user in the forum details it further:

I tried to forget the network and clear it from registery but not worked too so what should i do ?!

What causes problem with wireless

If you received this error on your PC, it means that there is a malfunction in your system. Common causes are incorrect or unsuccessful installation or removal of software that could leave invalid entries in the Windows registry, the effects of a virus or malware attack, an incorrect system shutdown due to a power failure, or another factor in which a person with little technical knowledge accidentally deletes the required A system file or registry entry, as well as several other reasons. The immediate cause of "problem with wireless" is a failure when one of its normal operations is properly started by a system or application component.

L540 wireless card problem --Intel Dual Band Wireless-AC 7260 NGFF

My laptop L540 is using wireless card of Intel Dualband 7260 AC. For some reason when I use it in the university campus wirelss network, I use Speedtest test it. The normal wireless speed  is around 100Mbps in my office, which I tested with my old R400 and other HP laptops. The problem is:Whenever I reboot the computer or wake it up from sleep, the first wireless connection ( mannual or automatical authentification), the network is slow as around 25Mbps in Speedtest Ookla. But when disconnect it and reconnect it agian, the speed can go to 120Mbps.

Any suggestion will be appreciated. I tried using Lenovo manager of other version also, the problem wouldn't go away.

After this second registration on wireless access point, it always streaming normaly fast no matter how many times of disconnect and reconnect. Is there anybody also experiencing this problem? But to find it always working in a wierd way:I first disabled the 3rd party wireless manager "Intel PROset wireless utility" and let Window wireless manager to the connection.

Wireless keyboard pairing problem: FQ481AA Wireless Elite Ke...

My wireless keyboard (FQ481AA Wireless Elite Keyboard) will not pair with my computer. I updated the drivers. Nothing.

I recently bought the HP Elite Slice which came with the ERK- 321A wireless keyboard and the wirelss mouse, so when i plugged in the computer and swithced it on they were not paired, so i plugged in another mouse and keyboard via the USB ports and have been trying pretty much daily to get them to air up, which i am finding impossible. The mouse is working fine.

i paired pretty much every item in our house, BOSE soundbar, Samsung TV, Blur ray player, phone etc but these two items never show up in the list, i am pushing the connect button on both the keyboard and mouse, with no luck. Anyone have any suggestions or had the same issue?

The instruction manual is only 2 pages long and doesn't say how to pair the keyboard with the computer.  I tried using the pair button on the back of the keyboard.

Problem with wireless adapter, wireless network disconnects abruptly

Please help me with a solution. Re-installing,updating wireless network drivers.
2. please do help.

Mine is Dell Inspiron 3537, Os: Windows 7 Ultimate x64.

Re-installing entire OS with full format of all hard drives.
3. Having tried all these still no luck, the problem persists. My laptop wifi works fine for some period of time, but suddenly the current wireless connection gets disconnected and no wireless networks appear in the list. Well i found a way to bring back the connection and to show the available wireless networks by disabling and enabling the dell wireless adapter under "change adapter settings" in Network and sharing center.

The wireless adapter is still enabled only. Changed the power saving options for wireless adapter to "maximise perfomance" for both on battery and plugged in modes. The network connection icon in taskbar changes to no network connection (small monitor with yellow exclamation icon).

I borrowed a digisol wireless USB adapter from my friend. I have no idea why mine is not working properly. But this problem keeps repeating at unpredictable intervals and i have to disable and enable the wireless adapter everytime!. I have already tried the following,

Disabled (unchecked) "allow computer to turn off this device to save power" option under power management tab of dell wireless adapter properties.
4. this works fine all the time with no issues...

The first time I got the error out of nowhere, one day I had wireless connection and everything is fine, the day after, the I have this error. Nothing worked!!!!  I don't know why I have this problem.

WIRELESS problem SOLVED "Turn on your wireless capabilty"

I still kept getting the same message... Checking the wireless card was not disabled in the Network diagnostics... setting I had to install the Hotkey Features Integration for Windows 7.... After that it was still not working... Then I installed Power Manager for Windows 7 (32-bit, 64-bit), Vista (32-bit, 64-bit) - ThinkPad Key combination still not working... no wireless internet THEN I INSTALLED ThinkPad Power Management driver for Windows 7 After EVERYTHING installed, the menu came back and i could enable the WIRELESS adapter. FML...Thank you lenovo, for making this a horrible experience...  Lenovo, I am dissapoint....

i've got the same story ... i found many drivers for wireless...i've a low internet connection ..hours to download them all ... The problem was not in the driver, or the BIOS, or the WINDOWS 7 SETTING. The problem was with the motherboard???bios???powermanagement??? So how was i supposed to know which driver to get.... So the first thing I checked was the BIOS settings, if i had the wireless radio ON.... After downloading the correct driver...

AGAIN IT DID NOT WORK ANYWAY... and nothing happened .... just because of power management ..

acer 4920g wireless problem! wireless 'dropping off'

Also what are the other PCs running in your place XP Pro, XP Home or all Vista Home? You also might have some dead spots in the house for wireless connections too. I can stay on the internet for so long and then it will drop off at odd times, it does it up to every minute.

Hope you can help, i have a acer aspire w920g with windows vista home premium.

The wireless router is working fine since we have a few computers in the house and the other computers are working fine. The wireless router is a draytek vigor 2800g. You might have to get wireless access point or a wireless repeater to help maintain your wireless connection in your place.

Any help on this problem would be brilliant. I have upgraded the intel wifi drivers and still no luck!

Cable & Wireless Wireless Network Problem

It sounds like the wireless section is not enabled if they don't see any networks.

Please can someone help me out.

You probably need to go into the configuration pages for the wireless router and set up wireless access. Model number for the router is: ADSLR10CW3 it is all connected and working.

Is there a setting i am missing here?..I am not a computer beginner, but this has me stumped. I have had to install my wireless network is the Cable & Wireless 11g ADSL wireless router. I have used the installation disc on the main computer, but really need advise on what i should be looking at. I have gone into the network settings for the upstairs pc and xbox and all i get is "cannot find wireless network".

My internet is back on but my son's computer and xbox cannot detect the wireless router.

Wireless Problem 'No wireless networks found'

This works fine for both laptops when hard wired. I'm sure the Linksys config is OK and my XP SP2 settings look good. I use Norton PF and AV 2005.

I have just installed my home internet network using a Linksys WRT54G. When I try to get a wireless connection with my Acer (built in Wi-Fi) I just get 'No wireless networks found'. Do you have WEP/WPA enabled?
How can I find out which end is having a problem?

Wireless problem with Y550 :: Wireless button does nothing

When I got it, the wifi worked well. Should I change the wireless card, on both of them? But that one is always connected to wired router, but still I'd like to know what's wrong, and how to fix them.

Got this Y550 a few days ago (used). No wifi signal, nothing, it's just like a dummy button. I searched the forum for Y550 wireless problem, but didn't really help. make sure you activated wireless by pressing fn + esc.( check if your fn keys work, if it doesn't, re-install power management )when you press fn + f5, the wireless management windows will show and also make sure you select "on" for wireless.

Then it stopped working, I reinstalled Window 7 (Lenovo recovery CD), then whenever I turn on the wireless button, it just doesn't do anything. Here's what I tried so far: 1) Updated the driver and BIOS (Intel Wifi link 5100 AGN)2) When setting up my Network and Sharing center, and whenever I tried trouble shooting, it says "Turn on wireless capability" It's like everything doesn't work anymore. Go to Solution. The laptop says it's stil under warranty, but I dunno if I can do anything with the warranty (second user). My other lenovo G550 has the same problem.

Wireless Cutting Out, Problem = Wireless Device

Intel is a supplier of laptop components and does not manufacture or sell complete laptop systems. Each laptop computer original equipment manufacturer (OEM) may have altered the features, incorporated customizations, or made other changes to the software or software packaging they provide. I recently had a Blue Screen of Death issue that was resolved by googling the problem's stop code that thrus some research told me to download a new driver for the wireless device. When i press fn+f5 and click on the network i want to connect to it would show connection successful and say applying wireless settings with a x next to it.

It won't connect anywhere. It automatically sets itself to smart (fan control config). Also my access connections has been working really bad lately.
