Registry Editing/ Task Manager disabled Error.

Any good and free Registry fixing tool or really good Tool that will not only remove the Spyware, Trojan etc to solve this problem but also restore the registries in its previous state. Thank you for your help. But when I restarted it, again the same problem. All with Admin access.

For another user, the problem was solved through helps from other forums (HijackThis, Some VB Script, TaskManagerFIX.exe and other options). The 2nd one is I am not able to open the Registry Editor or any Registry file for any change. I also tried Spybot S&D but it didn't work 100%. The first problem is my IE "Home Page" has been fixed to some website, the changing options have been disable (Seems some BHO problem).

I am getting error
"Registry editing has been disabled by your administrator." error msg. Another Error message I am getting is
"Task Manager has been disabled by your administrator."

I have 3 users in the System. Can anyone suggest all-in-one tool for this problem. Can someone please give me some ideas how to fix those problems?

My System is infected with some Spyware or Trojan. Again I tried this and that solved the probem but I am not able to do the same for other user as this user is having same problem.

I need someone help from you guys as I am not good in Windows Admin. I don't use Administrator user. Also, I am not sure if the problem is rectified completely ...

exe Associations and Disabled Registry Editor

I just had an experience with the "Vista Internet Security" virus, but that has been removed completely. So there are plenty of ways to fix my registry editor, but they all require .exe files, and I could fix my .exe problem if I could open the registry editor. The problem is that now my Registry editor is still disabled and on top of that my .exe file associations are broken.

Any ideas on how to fix both of these?

registry editing disabled, task manager disabled

But the thing is that Regfix.reg does NOT even work. Advertisement websites continously popped up. I already got rid of the spyware. I've read an old thread in this forum that seemed to have to same problem I do : .

Recently my computer got infected with a Backdoor and a trojan. I guess the spyware/virus also did something to the Notepad. My registry editing, task manager, right-click, internet editing were all disabled.

However, many functions such as task manager, registry, right-click, internet options still don't work. Please help me out with this!

No advertisements appear anymore, the computer returns to its normal speed.

Task Manager and Registry Editor disabled

I've run NOD 32 antivirus, Comodo system cleaner, and Malwarebytes. Each time I run malwarebytes it always comes up with the same two viruses: Hijack.regedit and Hijack.taskmanager. I've tried going into gpedit.msc to change it, and when I restart my computer the problem is back again.

I don't know what to do at this point. No matter how many times I have Malwarebytes delete them they come back. Help please. bannana77, Try Method 1 or 2 at the link below for the Task Manager problem. Method 1 at the link below for the regedit problem.

I have been to many websites to try to remedy the situation. Every time I try to open task manager or regedit it says that they have been disabled by the administrator.

Task manager and registry editor disabled! Please help me out

Do a Copy/Paste of the entire contents of the log file and submit it inside your post. Also be aware that some infections are so severe that you might need to resort to reformatting and reinstalling your operating system. I need you to be patient while I analyze any logs you post. Lastly, I am no magician.

The one thing that you should always do, is to make sure sure that your anti-virus definitions are up-to-date!
Please do not use the Attachment feature for any log file. Don't worry, this only happens in severe cases, but it sadly does happen. I'm posting the HijackThis scan log file. I am very sorry for the delay in responding, but as you can see we are at the moment being flooded with logs which, when paired with the never-ending shortage of helpers, resulted in the delayed responding to your thread.I would be glad to take a look at your log and help you with solving any malware problems. If you have since resolved the issues you were originally experiencing, or have received help elsewhere, please inform me so that this topic can be closed.

Attention to detail is important! Since I cannot see or directly interact with your computer I am dependent on you to "be my eyes" and provide as much information as you can regarding the current state of your computer.
I assume some trojan is in my system. If you're not sure, or if something unexpected happens, do NOT continue! Stop and ask!

It appears that this issue is resolved, therefore I am closing the topic. If I clicked on the threat details it said :

Those were the two files MalwareBytes apparently removed. And one of the programs it showed was called "system", the type was "System Settings", and the local scan said "Bad". They were:
